My Obsession With Tunisian Crochet

Oh how I love tunisian crochet! I mean, I really love it. It all started 3 years ago. I found this thing that looked like knitting, but wasn’t. It used a crochet hook. To say I was shook was an understatement. I dived in head first and never looked back.

Meet Luna Fade. A tunisian crochet shawl with a lace detail edging. I love her so much. Did I mention that so far my makes are female. It’s all about empowerment. Creating as a female entrepreneur makes me feel powerful. Being able to take yarn and hook and the end result be something, is a glorious feeling. Sharing it with you is even better. I want you to feel the same way. I want you to be proud to say ” I made it.” You, with your two hands.

Do you have a piece that makes you feel like a superhero? A garment that makes you feel invincible? That’s what Luna does for me. She’s the place where color and texture collide. You get something beautiful that makes you feel beautiful. We all deserve to feel this way so I’m sharing her with you.

Luna is tunisian crochet. A craft that I fell in love with a few years ago. The motion and stitches are meditative and brings me peace. I am on a mission to bring the love of tunisian crochet to ever maker I meet. Now it’s you turn.

The techniques I use to achieve the shape are unique. There is a video to walk you through everything you need to create your own Luna.

Meet my testers! These women helped me bring Luna to life. I couldn’t be more honored and blown away with how they made her their own. Ashley, the yarn dyeing color genius created these amazing colorways for us. Check her out on Instagram @montana.crochet and at montanacrochet.com

I’m so freaking proud of this design. I hope you love it too. If you don’t, don’t tell me. My heart couldn’t take it. Grab your copy today! I can’t wait to see all the colors!
